Watertown Conservation Club 2024 Scholarship Recipient

Adria Saxby is the 2024 Watertown Conservation Club scholarship recipient. She is the daughter of club member Dave Saxby and graduated from Lakeside Lutheran School.

The Watertown Conservation Club is offering a Scholarship for graduating seniors. The information is being sent to you since it is possible you have students from the Watertown School District attending your school. 

We will be awarding one scholarship of $1,500. to a high school senior planning a career in or related to marine/aquatic, ecosystem conservation or environmental studies. 

To be eligible applicants:

1. Be graduating seniors from any public or private high school who reside in the Watertown School District or attend school in the Watertown School District but do not live in the Watertown School District. 

2. Accepted into, or applying to an accredited continuing education program that leads to accreditation or a college degree in areas related to above.  

3. Required to show with the written statement that the chosen career will meet the requirement. (A well-written statement is very important).

The deadline is April 1 2025 and the scholarship will be available for the 1st semester of advanced education.  

The scholarship winner will be provided banquet tickets as they and their parents or guardians are invited to attend our Annual Picnic in August 2025.
